How is Lewy Body Dementia diagnosed?

It is very important to talk with the patient and the carer, or someone who has can explain the ongoing symptoms that have been occurring. If there are symptoms that line up with Lewy Body Dementia such as hallucinations, slow movement, balance problems, etc., then there will be imaging and other tests that can be used to secure a diagnosis. These tests are not mandatory but can help with diagnosing.
