" The current trial is a three-year intervention, and we have 604 people in the trial. These people are overweight, have poor diets, don’t have cognitive impairment, and are otherwise pretty healthy. So we're taking a sort of general normal population between 65 to 84 years of age, and we randomize them to the MIND diet just for a very mild calorie restriction. Just a 250 calorie reduction is all we ask, and the trial concludes in 2021. "
