Being Patient spoke with Dr. Albert Garcia-Romeu about the link between psychedelics and brain health, and what it might mean for Alzheimer’s research.
My stepmom has advanced Alzheimer’s and we would gladly enroll her in any promising clinical trials. We would like to stay informed as to what progress is being made in this area.

My wife was first diagnosed in 2012 by my oldest daughter, a clinical psychologist, who now focuses on psychedelics and by a specialist. Her Alzheimer’s is now advanced. Any studies available?
