On Friday, August 18th, at 10:00 a.m. PT/1:00 p.m. ET, occupational therapist and Driving to Independence founder Jenny Nordine joins Being Patient Live Talks to discuss what caregivers and people with dementia should know about driving safely.
With 15 years of experience in acute care and rehabilitation-based Occupational Therapy, Nordine founded Driving to Independence in 2000. Helping clients in Arizona and New Mexico, she and her team help clients with cognitive, visual, developmental, and physical diagnoses. This includes recommending adaptive driving equipment, vehicles, and lifts to accommodate client needs. She’s also an expert in driving assessments that help determine whether people with cognitive issues can continue to drive safely.
