How much information is given back to the trial participants? How much access would they have?

Again, we don’t quite know what the precise metrics are, and since we aren’t conclusive yet and this is pathfinding research, there is a lot of exciting potential but it’ll be hard to use our observations clinically without conclusive evidence which is what we’re working towards. If we notice any decline as well, and not just decline in the retina but also just cognitive decline, of course we will refer the patient to proper care because it’s the morally and ethically right thing to do. But regarding success in the trials, it’s still up in the air but we are excited for our upcoming trial and its potential.
