Physical activity is often overlooked again because often people living with dementia are older in their 70s or 80s, but not everybody. So keeping people as independent as possible, as active as possible for as long as possible is really important. It has positive benefits for how people feel being engaged in the activity and afterward, and helps them get to that place later in the evening where they’re ready to go to bed.
