What are the most common genes that determine a genetic link to fronto-temporal lobe dementia?

The three most common genetic mutations that we see in FTD are called MAPT, PRGN and C9ORF72. If someone has this mutation we know pretty definitely that they will be getting FTD at some point in their life.
