Delirium is described as an acute confusional state simply put the person doesn’t seem like the way they used to be there’s been some sort of change. Delirium can take 2 forms: the hyperactive form where patients are agitated and confused or the hypoactive form where the patient is quiet, withdrawn. The key feature of delirium is they are inattentive.
