What is the connection between fasting and mental health?

We believe that fasting essentially is a true re-set meaning that is forces the brain to move away from just using sugar as an energy source and start using by-products of fat. This process is called keto-geneisis. It allows the brain to activate gene pathways that have probably been turned off for the majority of someone’s life. In this process though we see altolfahG (the process of clearing up junk within the cells) is activated and can clear away bad cells in the body. Your cells, in a sense, regenerate and can then work more efficiently then the previous cells.
