What is the significance of this study if retinal screening is a success? What is the extent of its application?

I’m not sure how early in the lifespan we can push identifying retinal changes in what would otherwise be pretty healthy lives. We’re looking for small tiny, microscopic changes in the structure and function of the retina and I don’t think we’ll know when we have a drop off where anything before a certain age is undetectable, but again more with our trial we hope to achieve more answers.
