Pushkar Joshi is the Director of Strategy & Business Development at Inscopix, Inc., a Silicon Valley neurotechnology company. He is also the founder of Menlo Strategy Group, through which he helps early-stage biomedical startups and non-profits with strategy, business development, fundraising and branding advice.
At Inscopix, Pushkar helped develop the strategic roadmap for successful commercialization of the company’s brain-mapping platform in the preclinical neuroscience market. He is recognized as an architect of Inscopix’s rise from a small startup to a respected and influential brand, one that has garnered recognition from the White House to the World Economic Forum.
A neuroscientist by training, Pushkar conducted his doctoral and postdoctoral research on brain development at the University of Rochester and Stanford University, respectively. He continues his research as a Consulting Assistant Professor at Stanford and has authored several peer-reviewed articles in leading journals such as Neuron and PNAS.
