Maribeth Gallagher: Making Decisions About Hospice and Palliative Care for Dementia

On Wednesday, June 12th at 10 a.m. PT/ 1 p.m. ET, Dr. Maribeth Gallagher, director of Hospice of the Valley’s dementia program, joins Being Patient Live Talks to discuss what people living with dementia and their loved ones need to know about hospice and palliative care. 

In addition to directing the Hospice of the Valley’s dementia program, she also serves as an expert consultant for their palliative dementia care program. Her work with Hospice of the Valley has received national and international awards for its innovative approaches to dementia care. Gallagher’s focus on dementia care was initially inspired by her personal experiences as a family caregiver, sharing the journey with her loved one from diagnosis to death.
